Before becoming Economic Editor at Il Corriere della Sera, journalist Maria Elena was a contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore, Aspenia, EAST on geopolitical issues, economic affairs and innovation. She has also worked on the “Italy of Innovators” project for the Presidency of the Italian Council of Ministers. Maria Elena has a Magna cum Laude Degree in Eastern Languages and Culture at Naples University L’Orientale. She has also completed a Masters in Journalism and a Masters in Export Management.

Francesco began his career working in a variety of roles to acquire the all-round business experience that would serve him well when he joined the family's fine tailoring and luxury accessories business. After 'coming home', he became Manager of International Clients and Promotional Events Organizer for Bottega Conticelli in 2010. For the last decade, Francesco, who is passionate about communication and developing strong relationships with clients and suppliers, has been responsible for growing the business and developing the international reputation of the renowned atelier under the guidance of his father, Stefano.

ALESSANDRO FERRACINO

ITALY & FRANCE BUSINESS ASSURANCE

Alessandro has been Intertek Regional Director, Italy & France Business Assurance since 2013 and Chairman of the Automotive Sector at AICQ National since 2018. His experience in heavy industry began with a job on the assembly line in a robotics factory. He later worked on research projects for Fiat railways and then became Head of Quality, Safety and the Environment for Federal Mogul. In 2005, Alessandro joined Certo - Sai Global as Auditor, Project Manager and Operations Manager in the automotive department and in 2009 he became General Manager, before moving on to join Intertek.
